My Complete set TREE OF LIFE SERIES
Last night was the unveiling of the 4″ x 4″ art quilt exchange at the Fiberartny meeting. It was a lot of fun and very exciting. We all put our squares on a large table upside down and went around the table picking up one from each pile until we all had 29 squares. Sounds easy right….somehow some of us ended up with 27, 27 or 28 and we had to do a recount. It was a hoot. Each square is unique and it is very interesting to see all the different techniques and materials everyone used. We are already thinking about our next project: creating a piece inspired by a “macro” photograph. My mind is already at work.
