Making Julie N B has been an absolute joy. I still have the original quilt to go back to and work on. This piece is a phototransfer of my own original quilt. Finished, it measures 10″ x 14″. I free motion quilted the piece and satin stitched the inner border. I used Japanese seed beads for most of the beadwork and a few larger beads for the outer border and in the headdress. The necklaces are Swarovski crytals which I heat set. My cousin Julie N B has not seen the piece as of today. She longed for her own when she saw the gifts I made for my new sister-in-law Julie B V! I actually have another cousin Julie in my family! That is why the initials after the first name. I have included several details of the piece below to better see the bead and thread work.
