Susan Beth
I spent several hours today beading my new work. I believe it is done. I have spent many months, and had several conversations with friends and family about what to name these pieces. Many have suggested Goddess names, mythical names and biblical names, but that just didn’t ring true to me. What does ring true, are the names of the incredibly wonderful women in my very large family, both past and present and so without hesitating, I knew that was the answer to my quest. Without meaning to be narcissistic, I have decided to name this second piece: Susan Beth. Yes, a self portrait as there is just no way around it. So I am happy to introduce, Susan Beth.
