It has been an absolutely gorgeous day, at last! Started the day with a long and vigorous walk which always gets me feeling terrific. Then, I headed up to my studio and before I knew it, it was dinner time. Spent the day drawing and drawing and drawing while listening to great jazz from Preservation Hall in New Orleans. Just keeps me going. I think I have arrived at the finish line. I ended up using fabric markers for all the drawings The birds were drawn separately and then fused as was the smaller figure. I have heat set the piece and now am thinking very seriously about how to proceed with the quilting…….
